SUMMER HOLIDAY IN CENANG BEACH

The ripple of excitement you’re supposed to feel when you step onto the Pantai Cenang strip may not come. After all, even though these shores are purportedly the most stimulating stratum of Langkawi, that’s still not saying much. Pantai Cenang doesn’t have many sightseeing attractions; the Langkawi Underwater World dominates the scene with its mammoth structure but kids are most assuredly entertained here. Pantai Cenang’s beach is itself a popular attraction due to its beautiful sandy shores which face the crystalline waters and expansive horizon.
Pantai Cenang nightlife is diverse and plentiful and widely known as Langkawi's busiest, with rows of bars and lounges set along its expansive stretch. The Breakfast Bar may not look like much from the outside – it’s a small tropical beach-like hut – but the food is varied and delicious. As the name denotes, Breakfast Bar originally was all about breakfast. From roti canai and spicy nasi lemak to delicious fresh baguettes and savoury scrambled eggs. However, they have added authentic western cuisine to the menu and are now open for lunch and dinner as well. Another place suitable for hangout at night is the Red Tomato Restaurant & Lounge. It is a hip and unpretentious dining room with décor that puts us in mind of a Spanish hacienda Its kitchen puts out some of the best western food on the island and this is one of the favourite breakfast spots for the tourists with the Mediterranean penne pasta serving as its standout dish.
Besides, Red Sky Restaurant and Bar, conveniently located just opposite the Underwater World Langkawi, is easily recognizable with abstract wall patterns in a vibrant red hue. They offer an extensive menu of both Malaysian and western food including homemade spring rolls, nachos, satay and chicken wings. Well-frequented by tourists and locals alike, Red Sky Restaurant and Bar serves a wide range of ice cold beers and well-crafted cocktails.
What’s a holiday in Cenang Beach without the thrills of playing the variety of watersports there. There are a lot of water activities that can get your adrenaline going. No need to worry finding agencies handling watersports. There are a lot of agencies you can visit right here at Cenang Beach and get their services in a very short time. Their tiny offices can handle a lot of customers at one time which can give full satisfactions to visitors.
One of the most interesting must-try activities here in Cenang Beach is to ride the banana boat. The banana boat is an unpowered recreational boat that gives you the chill and excitement when riding it. In a shape of a banana, it can accommodate three to seven people at once. It took at least 15 minutes for you to ride it and enjoy the waves that make you jump up and down along the ride.
The evening sunset with the crowds of people at the beach makes you feel more dehydrated accompanied with the cool breeze from the ocean. This is also the right time for you to try parasailing and enjoy the glorious view form a height. You will be towed behind a boat while attached to a specially designed canopy wing. The boat then drives off, carrying the wing and person into the air. Enjoy the incredible twinkling time of your life where you can fly and see things from the top while relishing the moment.

Don’t forget to try jet skiing when you’re here at Cenang Beach. Have a wonderful ride on a personal watercraft for a few hours. You can sit or stand on, rather than inside of, as in a boat. Treat yourself as if you are in Miami Beach or in Hawaii because it’s almost the same. The splash of the ocean gives more absurd feeling like you are in your own world. The evening sunset adds the fun mood in your activities.
After filling up your tummy with exquisite dishes and playing in the summer sea, what else to do aside from pampering yourself at the spa after a long day. Pantai Cenang is Langkawi’s most popular area; the majority of good restaurants and luxury resorts are located along its gorgeous beach.
Sunbathing and enjoying the surf are all par for the course and visitors come here to lounge on the beach and enjoy spa treatments and massages. The beach is usually littered with couples enjoying the sun, sand and surf; vacationing families tend to stick to the other parts of Langkawi.
Whether you are trying to relax and release stress, loosen tense muscles and improve your skin complexion, or just feel like indulging in some self-pampering, Alun-Alun Spa is the place for you. Indulge in one of Alun-Alun’s signatures, tastefully selected treatments and spa therapies to cater your every desire. The spa utilizes freshly harvested rice, and herbs, spices and flowers from the neighboring herbal garden. The menu includes unique Malay treatments such as ritual hair smoking, which are hard to find anywhere else. Some highlight that they offer in the spas is the body scrub utilizing rice from the surrounding paddy fields, traditional herbal hair treatment and Sari Murni Package.
The Dashila Thai Spa is an excellent choice for those who look for a spontaneous relaxation. While the Spa offers also packages with herbal steam and hot tub experience that last up to 3 hours, very popular are short treatments from 25 min head & hand massage to 40 min combo with reflexology and back and shoulder massage. It operates daily since 11am till 11pm. With a Thai owner, the menu includes apart from aromatherapy, Ayurveda and hot stone massage also authentic Siamese treatments such as facial with original. The staff is well trained and at all times in tune with your individual needs, adjusting the pressure to suit your preference without you having to ask for it. The spa also has the main highlights which are Thai Herbal Massage, Traditional Thai Massage and Waxing services.

Langkawi is a wonderful island. There are a lot of excitements that you can treasure in the very small island . It was a fascinating experience that you should try and you should not miss. Pantai Cenang – Langkawi’s main vein – may not be as rowdy as the Las Vegas strip but it is Malaysia’s most developed west-coast beach; its shores are a gorgeous mix of white sand, crystalline turquoise-blue waters and verdant palms.
